I have worked with Mike Ross for over 3 years now and can say happily and with so much gratitude how helpful he has been throughout my college career. I first started at one university and transferred to another during lockdown and helped make my course load more manageable with lots of planning and prioritization/preparation when it comes to the executive functioning skills, especially when it comes to writing papers. It is because of Mike Ross I was always able to pass a class and can gratefully say I am on track to graduate this December. He is not only there for you academically, but is there for you personally as well and cares about all of his students success and wellbeing. He has been my biggest fan and cheerleader throughout my entire 3 years working with him. I owe him a huge debt of gratitude.

A Member of Our Family A few years back, we were looking for an educational coach for our two sons; one in high school, the second in junior high. Michael came highly recommended by a trusted friend. This was one of the best decisions our family has made. Michael’s endearing personality saw him bond with our sons. He understood the areas necessary for concentration and began immediately to address them. Michael became the trusted partner we required. He has worked with our sons over the past five years and those areas of weakness have become strengths. Our youngest son is now an A student entering college. Michael remains a part of our family and continues to be an asset we call on.

I’m incredibly grateful for Michael Ross, my daughter’s exceptional teacher and tutor for several years. He was genuinely invested in her success and even supported her with auditory processing challenges. Michael’s patience and tailored approach helped her advance academically. He’s not just a teacher but a true mentor who cares deeply. Even after his engagement with her, he continues to check in on her progress in college, showing his ongoing dedication to her success. A truly caring teacher making a lasting impact!

Michael Ross gets it and my son is thriving. From the moment I first spoke with Michael, he told me, your son needs to want this and two years later – WOW! Not only has my son learned how to be better organized and what constructive feedback looks like, Michael has successfully worked with us to ensure the DOE understands his strengths and weaknesses too. From speaking and working with my son’s school to working with my son to testifying on our behalf to the DOE, Michael Ross has helped my son be a more independent and confident learner.

We have had the blessing of knowing Michael Ross for the last 5 years. My son struggled with Executive Dysfunction, specifically heightened during high school, mostly with cognitive flexibility, inhibition control and lack of motivation. As school work became more challenging and required task management, my son became unable to keep up and began to withdraw and lose the desire to even go to school. We had tried tutors before, but my son did not fully engage with anyone and there was no change in his academics. Even more important to me as his mom, there was no change in his confidence in himself or desire to try harder or to recognize his own talents as strengths. After meeting Michael on day one, I had already known that we had finally found the perfect mentor, tutor, support system for my son that he truly needed. I could finally sleep in peace knowing that we had a plan and someone who would be there and would help guide the way for not only academics, but much more than I could ever have known back then. Michael is not only extremely knowledgeable, experienced, well organized and dedicated…he is also reliable, kind and caring beyond! His dedication to his students and his communication to the family really sets him apart from anyone! There is no doubt that he will go the extra mile and put all he has into the time spent with mentoring and helping his students.
